April 2, 2010 Filed Under: House Design

A concept for a new modular, sustainable and transportable low energy house has been created by German company Studio Aisslinger. It’s named Fincube. Concept of fincube aims to minimize CO2 blueprint because it is made from local timber made entirely of local wood, the building provides 47 sqm of living space. These modern modular house design ideas was built at an altitude of 1200 meters near Bozen, Italy. The coolest part is the home that can be dismantled and moved to a different site. Sure, this is not the easiest process, but it can be done.

The supporting structure is made of local larch and the interior is a combination of larch and stone-pine. the 3m-high space is organized in a helical structure: the entrance area blends into a generous open kitchen with an adjacent sofa living space, around the corner one enters the bedroom and further down is the spacious bathroom. You’ll find incredible sensation when you live in it. Think about it!
