luxury relaxing room Bauma house

Designed for young couple, Bauma is a great interior architectural renovation project with an innovative structure design concept that is inserted in the existing building. The new construction maintains the existing heights, yet proposes an additional organic resolution. The smooth and endless lines reference infinite area, as there is no clear distinction among the floors and walls decoration design, or between the walls and ceiling. Light scatters on the organic surface in a way which seems almost limitlessness.

creative interior decor Bauma home

The house furniture design especially on the living room and bathroom is selectively chosen to unite various different styles. The young couple has a collection of fancy contemporary antique pieces, and preferred to mix the creative furniture with this collection. These pieces attract attention in contrast to the smooth surface of the white walls and ceilings. The proposal for the home garden’s design also follows the same principles of infinity. Here, the lines seem endless. A place for resting is designed in the space left among the existing trees. This soothing, quiet and relaxing garden space will be where the couple will spend most of their free time. What do you thing about this house renovation project? -via-

Modern Entrance Interior Design at Banc Sabadell Atlantic Tower

April 5, 2010 Topic: Interior Design

As you enter this building you will soon notice that they emphasize the intervention at three different levels, they are; The floor, a white sheet touches the ground at both ends (as a ramp or staircase) and floating on it in the center, the shelter is in fact a large gutter that collects water inside the driving rain and piped to the earth by its edges and the finishes of the gate that use various mirrors, rugs and glass are designed to break the image of the traffic in single frames, to highlight the uniqueness of the movement of the exchange between outside and inside.

The basic approach of the proposed architecture and material composition was to recover a clear arrangement of the plant. Objectively and subjectively the materials used provide quality, transparency, reflection, nobility, an intelligent space and tranquility ended. The light atmosphere illuminates the subjective values and communicates the material, material, texture and color, providing essential, contrast, brightness balance and natural, not compelling.

The entrance area of the most contrasted brightly and heterogeneous is where lighting elements generate timely spots arranged in floor and ceiling directing inwards. The noble material, continuous dark, waiting area, occupied on the side, alternating with bright translucent bands at an accelerating pace that brings warmth. A spherical luminous element suspended in the center of the large spiral staircase that serves as balance light throughout the space.

The customer service sector governed by a high ceiling, flat, slightly incline, triangular-shaped translucent glass that provides texture and natural lighting artfully into space and contain the essence of a great outdoor space. Tie at the offices of personal attention, no visual but physical barrier in which a desk lamp and a translucent light strip on the edge of the ceiling material is diluted by the mirror that creates continuity through reflection. Within the architectural approach and composition of space intelligently made, the light translucent material, in situations colored, acts as a nexus in its different forms and provisions throughout the space. Subjectively the triangle and the sphere, basic shapes, generate the light balance of space. [ josep Lluís Mateo ]

contemporary bathroom design photos

A bathroom could be a restful haven, a fantasy world, or a home within a home. The following tips will inspire you to convert your ordinary bathroom into modern contemporary style and would be special part of your home. Here’s the step by step guide and you could also see several pictures for your inspiration.

Step 1: Framing the bath with pictures, mirrors or large wall art will make it the focal point of the room.

Step 2: To make it larger than it actually is, you can cover frosted glass, solid walls, or shower curtains with a glazed screen and widen your windows or use reflective flooring.

contemporary bathroom design pictures

Step 3: Creating space for narrow floor area and preventing splash on the floor can be accomplished by replacing the shower with a wet room covered by a glass half screen so that a shower door is not a must.

Step 4: To produce a smart, clean look, choose monotone color. Soothing neutrals are good for warmer look while combination of bright and darker hues are for energetic mood.

Step 5: Using large wall art or full-length mirrors at well-spaced intervals can offset the monotony, add a contemporary feel and infuse a bathroom with energy, vitality, and glamour.

Step 6: Polished wood or stainless steel storage combines beauty and practicality. Install a fashionable wall-mounted sink that go with overall décor for an added elegance. You may add a touch of luxury by selecting a modern designer shower enclosure, be it a glass shower enclosure or a corner shower enclosure. Fashionable shower tray and bath screen will complete the design.

Modern Loft Interior Design Adoring the White Color Theme

The ceiling loft can be the most attractive part of the house and it can get even better if a white color theme is applied. Check out this 120 square meter loft from an Italian house where the ground floor is 81 square meter and the first floor is 42 square meter. As evident, the color white is dominant and it highlights the shadows and even the furniture in a contrasting pattern. The only way to reach the relax-zone beneath the loft area is the suspended stairs. This relax-zone is separated from the living area with the use of a glass.
